Just a short visit...

Mike, Suzanna and Anna Kate( Ryan's sister, Brother in law, and their daughter) spent the night with us on their way to Memphis. We had such a fun time seeing everyone and catching up before we see them for Christmas. Anna Kate is adorable and I did not take any fun pictures but there is one as they were leaving this morning, she was ready to go!!! Thanks for coming and staying with us and we will see everyone in a few days!!

Last Day of School!

We had our last day of school today and it was so much fun. We had a snacks and strokes party which for some of you not from Birmingham, there is this place that offers a one night session on a painting, it is called Sip n Strokes. Everyone brings there own bottle of wine and you paint a picture. I work with an occupational therapist that is so great and very creative and she does painting on the side and she lead our snacks and strokes. We had to change the name because obviously we can not drink wine at school. I wanted to show everyone the picture that I painted, it is not great but looks really cute!!!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

I really enjoy this time of year, other than the stress of buying gifts and getting them wrapped and making sure that we are all ready for the BIG day! I enjoy most of all the Christmas cards that we receive of people that we know and maybe do not get to see that often, they are so joyful and always show the family and children with such delight. I just wanted to share with you our celebration here at home and what we really value. We must also remember the real meaning of Christmas and why we do all these things, we are here to celebrate the Birth of Christ and what he has done for us. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and we would love to hear from you all.

This Time Last Year!

Ryan and I just celebrated our first anniversary together on Sunday and wanted to let you all know that it has been a great year for the both of us. We both are just continuing to work and and love our jobs, while throwing in a few fun things here and there. We can't really believe that it has been a year, but in some ways, it feels like 10!

New Addition to the Family!

Ryan and I have an announcement to make, we have expanded the family!! We adopted a new dog from the Blount County Animal Shelter and she is adorable. Sassie is her name and she loves to be loved on and taken care of. She is 4 1/2 years old and her and Allie are starting to get the hang of living together. We are really happy to have helped the community and we LOVE the addition to the family! Please stop by and see the dog anytime that you would like!
