Good Football Day in the Farrell Household!

Yesterday was a good football day!! Auburn did not play so at least its not a loss and we are gearing up for Alabama next week!!

War Eagle!!

Ryan and I went to Starkville yesterday for tailgating fun and MSU pulled out a win over Arkansas that was truly a good game; however, we both felt sick for the Arkansas kicker. I never think that a tie or win should be left up to one person.

Hardest Part about my job

Within the last week, God has taken one of my current students and one of my former students to be with him. I know that they are in a better place where their disability has been taken away and they are healthy thriving children. It will never get easy though, this is the hardest part of my job when we have to say good bye. I treat the end of each year, especially if I am moving children to different therapists, like it is really special because you never know when the last time you will see a child will be. Please pray for the families of these children and embrace your child today with love no matter what. Never take for granted the moments that you have with your child or any other loved one. Sorry to be so sappy but this is the part that I will never be able to get used to.
I wish you all a safe and happy week and remember these children that are in God's Kingdom now.

Baby Gift!!

Ryan and I have been talking about the gift that you get after you have a baby from your husband and Ryan was new to this, He said "There is a gift for that too? What do I get for putting up with you while you are pregnant?"

He is so sweet and I told him even before we were pregnant that I wanted a really nice camera so that I could take pictures like the photographers and not have to spend so much money on all that, plus it will be so fun to have. This week my sweet husband surprised me with a Nikon D60 with the lenses and all these accessories, which I have no idea what they are for, but I will. He said that he decided to give it to me early so that I could learn how to work it and know all about it by the time the baby comes.

Ryan is too good to me and I love him very much. He is always there to help me and tell me when I am being unreasonable. He is so sweet!!

Overwhelming!!

I am not sure if it is pregnancy or what but lately I have been very overwhelmed with the amounts of chores, work, etc that has to be done. In the past, I just did it and didn't worry about it or I would not worry about it until it was done. Here lately, I have been waking up at night worrying about paperwork that I have to do for work, money that needs to go in different places, the house and how it needs to be arranged. Everyone says to sleep, sleep, sleep but how are you suppose to do that between these things named above and needing to use the ladies room 4 times a night. Ryan has been such a wonderful help whether he just talks to me or helps me with the heavy stuff, He loves me and wants me to rest also. I am hoping that this will work it self out and I will be getting out for Thanksgiving and Christmas break soon, so hopefully some of this will be able to get caught up. I am looking forward to the break and hoping to see all my friends and family soon!!!

King Size Bed!!

Since Ryan and I have been married, we have been sleeping in a queen size bed that has never been a problem. Allie has always slept with us and we have had no worries. Last November, we got Sassie and she gets in the bed with us most of the time but not always. Ryan and I were doing fine until my growing belly started happening and the fact that I get up 3-4 times a night to use the ladies room. So last week, we went and got ourselves a king size bed and mattress set, it was delivered on Saturday and last night was my first night to sleep in it, it was wonderful.
Our room is a little small for a king size but its worth the comfort at night!!!
