Eating baby food for the first time!!!

So much to talk about....

Mary McRae was 6 months as of Saturday and we are having so much fun, thats why my posting has been so horrible, and due to the fact that I started back to work on August 10th. I told a friend today that I have a new appreciation for mothers that work, take care of babies, take care of husbands, etc. I am really tired and completely overwhelmed. Its getting all done but just very far behind.

Mary McRae is doing so much, she is sitting up completely without any assistance and she is getting ready to crawl. She is creeping and doing the rocking back and forth on her knees. Mary McRae is scooting around and rolling and moving to get the things that she wants (but not what her mother wants, like the dog bowls, her camera in her crib, etc). She is about to start moving and she is going to be a mess. But I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!

Mary McRae loves school and is doing great, her teachers are loving her and she cant get enough of her friends. She also met a new friend while in Auburn and is loving hanging out with all her buds.

Ryan and I are doing well and have adjusted to parenthood rather well, we, of course, wish that we could win the lottery or something but other than that, we are doing great.

First trip to the zoo

I took Mary McRae to the zoo the other day and did not have the camera but she loved it, she was watching the animals and trying to figure out what they were. I am going to try and go again this week or next and I will take my camera next time.

4 month appt.

We went for Mary McRae's 4 month appt a couple of weeks ago and she is doing great. We are going to be 5 months old next week and I really can't believe it. Mary McRae is talking up a storm, sitting up with just a little assistance, she is creeping backwards on her belly, she has been rolling over but now she can go both ways, front to back and back to front. Mary McRae is such a happy baby and loves her mommy and daddy. She loves to watch the dogs and watch children play. This week, I went back to work and on Monday was her first day of school, she is doing great and not crying at all. Her mother is a different story. I cried on Monday and then it is getting better everyday. It makes it easier knowing that I have her in the best place and that I love my job and make a difference with other peoples children everyday. Mary McRae's teachers lover her and are working with her just like mommy was. I pick her up everyday and just love on her.

Priceless

Mary McRae and I went to the beach a few weeks ago for a short trip with my family and here are some pictures that she took with my Grandaddy!! It was priceless and so emotional to him holding her!!

Swinging in the Park

I went about 2 weeks ago to try and see if the swings in the park would be ok for Mary McRae and she was a little small but she loved them and did great.
